Winterfell is a contemporary ski retreat in Whistler designed by Openspace Architecture, set within a secluded forested site near the base of Whistler Mountain. The home integrates nearby natural features such as bedrock, mature trees, and filtered mountain light, using natural materials and expansive glazing to connect interior living spaces with the surrounding landscape. This architectural photography series documents how the residence engages the forest environment and seasonal light of the Sea to Sky region, highlighting the relationship between contemporary residential architecture and its alpine setting.
